The red carpet designer has designed a gold dress to promote the Magnum Gold?! ice cream
Zac Posen has created a 24-carat gold dress for Magnum ice cream.
The designer has produced the gown to help promote the company's latest product, a chocolate ice cream bar called Gold?!
The American fashion designer has had his one-of-a-kind dress valued at US$1.5 million.
Zac's Magnum-inspired gown will debut in a short film starring actor Joe Manganiello during the Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday April 18.
"The irresistible decadence of MAGNUM Gold?! Ice Cream will be brought to life in the short film As Good As Gold, by Emmy-award winning director Jon Cassar. The film will star Manganiello along with actress Caroline Correa as his newest leading lady," a press release stated.
"Manganiello plays a gold thief who falls for the beautiful but dangerous Correa as she wears Posen's 24 carat gold dress. In the film, he finds out the hard way that all bets are off when it comes to women who pursue pleasures that are as good as gold."
Zac's garment was apparently made from 10,000 24 carat gold sequins and inspired by melting ice cream.
This isn't the first time Magnum have used a fashion-theme in their marketing.
The company previously tapped Chanel star Karl Lagerfeld to help make their ice creams seem more stylish. Karl designed an entire chocolate room boasting a shirtless Baptiste Giabiconi.
