Finally! Popular Korean brand Stylenanda now in Singapore

You can’t escape the impact of Korea’s pop culture anymore. Whether it’s K-Pop or Korean dramas, or Running Man or Korean beauty brands, K-Style is taking over. And when it comes to K-Fashion, there’s no brand bigger than Stylenanda, the affordable label that started as a blogshop, turned into an own-brand and now has a massive bricks ‘n’ mortar store in the cool Hongik University area of Seoul.
While you can, obviously, shop Stylenanda online via its website at http://en.stylenanda.com/, it’s always been a bit hard to work out the sizes and fit of the various pieces since the great majority of them are “One Size”. Which is why it’s such great news that cool multi-label store i.t. now stocks Stylenanda right here in Singapore at its new boutique in Orchard Gateway!
There are three Stylenanda lines at the new store – Nanda Made (its own creations), KKXX (which is more “streetstyle”) and the Stylenanda beauty brand 3 Concept Eyes (which comes with handy tips on how to get that K-Beauty look).
Here are some of our favourite items from each of the three Stylenanda lines ...

NANDA MADE

There are three themes this season – “Tenir Salon” which is more dressy; “The Funky Town” which is fashion-forward; and “Holiday Couture” which is more casual. We love the Lotus Mesh pencil skirt and midriff top which has a graphic print and mesh overlay from the Tenir Salon theme. The fun banana print on the cropped tee and matching jersey skirt from the Holiday Couture collection might be a bit much all together, but is perfect for a casual weekend if you split them up.

Probably our favourite look though is the MWAH Cancan Tweed top and matching skirt with lace trim; it’s ladylike but on-trend at the same time, perfect for Singapore. If you’re a bit of a nerd, however, you’ll adore the Star Wars tees which are available in oversize and cropped versions.
KKXX

Stylenanda's KKXX label pieces

KKXX is Stylenanda’s “stylistic” line (whatever that means) that translates into basically black and white graphic pieces with touches of grey and red; it really all about streetwear influences like oversized tees worn as dresses, body-con dresses, logo and slogan tees, leggings, bags, snapback caps, and lots of transparency. We love the Kindly Kitsch & XOXO skirt with its bit of transparency at the bottom to break up the black pencil skirt; and the KKXX long tee dress with lace sleeves – both are great ways to wear the streetwear trend without looking like you’re trying too hard.
3 CONCEPT EYES

Stylenanda's 3 Concept Eyes Eyebrow kit

Stylenanda’s beauty brand was launched in 2009 and based on being able to create different eye makeup looks from the colours of pink, orange and beige via the products’ handy instructions that come in the packaging. Now the brand covers everything from cleansing and body products to nail varnish and makeup tools and brushes.

The eye palettes are still the signature products however; we love amazingly useful 3 Concept Eyes Eye Brow Kit that includes the brand’s signature cream eyebrow colours – there are two which you can mix and match so that you get the right colour to go with your hair (a big K-Beauty “must-do”).

The Glam Cream Shadows are also pretty fabulous for classic K-Beauty “soft shimmer” eyes and if you love your fancy nails you’ll adore the brand’s range of nail studs and spikes that you can attach to your manicure for a very K-Pop look.
