eBay Singapore launches innovative custom-shopping experience

urate your own shopping with eBay’s intelligent ‘Feed’ and shop easily with the newly streamlined site on eBay.sg

Have you always had to open multiple pages when browsing eBay because the product images were too small? Now  you can look forward to a smoother shopping experience because the world’s largest online marketplace has released its fully-redesigned Singapore website. It has eliminated that pet peeve and many other concerns, making the the biggest change in eBay Singapore history.
The best new feature that eBay has rolled out is its Pinterest-like Feed. Upon logging onto your eBay account, the Feed fills your page with large pictures of products according to your taste, preferences and your shopping interests. You can control and customise what appears on your Feed: Add brands, categories, specific items or even create multiple wish lists and the Feed will generate suggestions according to the lists. In effect, your eBay homepage has become all about you.

The Feed pulls data from more than 400 million listings on eBay, making it one of the most powerful online personal shoppers that is also free of charge. Aside from the Feed, eBay has also streamlined its website and shop search engine, to bring more daily bargains to shoppers. Keep a lookout for eBay’s picks of discounts up to 90 per cent off the recommended retail price and snag a good deal for yourself! Items range from electronics and mobile accessories to expensive watches.
Ebay has also gotten a much-needed facelift. The “View Item” pages now have a cleaner look with larger pictures and key information, a tiled display and product categories on the homepage have moved to the sidebar for easier browsing. Avid shoppers will also appreciate the slightly larger font size, so you can eyeball the price, number of bids and time left without squinting.
This is eBay Singapore’s biggest revamp ever. It has tried to make buying an effortless exercise, right down to the check-out process. Paypal users can now link their accounts to their eBay counterparts for seamless payment and confirmation.
